Unpaid caregivers: How America treats women caring for paralyzed partners

Story: This visual enterprise story published converted 83 paid subscribers to The Washington Post within 24 hours of being published. I spent nearly a year working on the story and also filmed and edited the video in Portland, Oregon. It was shared by Andrew Yang, Patricia Arquette and the Women’s March. It received over 80,000 unique page views within its first week. It was the Sunday Business cover story on August 8, 2021. The video for this story has garnered 5.2 million views on YouTube as of October 2023.
