How the Black Lives Matter protest movement could help HBCUs

Story: In July 2020, I wrote how students were deciding to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities after being inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement. Originally, the story was about the financial difficulties HBCUs were facing because of the coronavirus pandemic but in the midst of reporting that story, their enrollment numbers for the fall term suddenly spiked. This story was printed in the June 6, 2020 Metro section in The Washington Post.
